But buying a new car isn’t just about the looks or the first time it felt when you drove it. As a car buyer, you need to have a peace of mind knowing your new vehicle is covered.
Renaults 5 year/150 000km warranty is a promise that any manufacturing or factory defects, such as any unexpected mechanical failure (engine or gearbox) or electrical failures (audio systems or fuel systems) will be repaired or replaced. Your vehicle will be taken care of within the specified time by qualified technicians with genuine Renault parts.

Renault also offers a Bumper2Bumper extended Warranty which will start off once the standard warranty has ended with no limitation to the mileage. It not only covers your standard warranty but additional benefits as well as and is available as a monthly cost.

A service plan focuses on specified scheduled services for your vehicle to help keep your vehicle on the road. By keeping to your schedules services, your car is maintained and your warranty intact.
With every new vehicle purchase, a service plan is guaranteed to you by Renault. Depending on the plan, your first 2 services are usually covered. The Kwid, Triber and Sandero models all come with a 2 year/30 000km service plan. Whilst, the Clio, Captur, Duster and Koleos models all have a 3 year/45 000km service plan.

For additional cover, you can either opt for an extended service plan or a maintenance plan, which is a bit higher priced but is definitely worth it in the long term.
There are different duration periods for a maintenance plan such as 2- or 3-year plan. However, by having this plan, your vehicle will be covered for wear and tear items.

Whilst a service plan will cover your vehicle for its standard service such as an oil change, air filter, window wipers, etc. A maintenance plan will cover you for a service as well as additional benefits. These include water pump, turbo assembly (limited), fuel system, factory-fitted door locks, boot locks and electronic ignitions. Some of the most important parts to keep your vehicle performing well are usually covered under your maintenance plan.
Besides the warranties, service plans and maintenance plans offered and are available to you as a Renault buyer, there is even more cover. Renault has a Tyre and Rim Product which provides for damages to the tyres and rims of your vehicle due to punctures, blowouts or damages caused by road hazards. This product will then pay for the repair or replacement caused from the above cases.
If you ever lose your keys, get stuck for fuel, in need of help to change a flat tyre, Renault 24 hr. Roadside Assistance is there for you. It is valid for 5 years/150 000km and can be renewed if you would still like to keep the service.

Different brands will have their own vehicle plan, it may all be similar as they would all have a warranty, service and/or maintenance plan but they would either word and/or structure these plans differently.
Mitsubishi for example, offers a warranty which also covers for unexpected mechanical and electrical failure. However, their plan is structured for 3 year/100 000 km. A Bumper2Bumper warranty is also offered by Mitsubishi as a monthly cost.
A service plan on Mitsubishi vehicles is 5 years/ 90 000km excluding the New Xpander which is 2 years/30 000km. Sump plugs, brake and clutch fluid, pollen filter element and your coolant would all be covered under Mitsubishi’s service plan.
There is a wide range of parts which are covered under the maintenance plan as wear and tear items are parts which gradually and physically deteriorate. A maintenance repair under Mitsubishi must be performed by a Mitsubishi approved facility and can be purchased through different payment options.
All new vehicles have a service book which you can keep track of what service has been done on your vehicle and when the next service is due. Having extra cover on your vehicle, means you would not have to stress about sudden extra costs.
These plans not only give you the peace of mind knowing that your vehicle is protected but, allows you to be able to maintain your vehicle so that it can remain in the best possible condition.
