The all-new Mitsubishi Triton GL

A force to be reckoned with! Mitsubishi is known for its long history of producing reliable SUVs and trucks. Just like the all-new Pajero Sport Aspire, Mitsubishi is now aiming to enhance its range of vehicles and act upon the needs of car buyers. The Triton range is no different as Mitsubishi recently launched the latest GL model! 

The new Triton GL features the same robust appearance as a standard Triton with a few changes. The price tag is one of those changes as Mitsubishi has produced a more affordable Triton model. Nevertheless, you’ll still find everything you’ll need in a double-cab bakkie that is both reliable and versatile!

A standard DOHC intercooled engine that has slightly less power than the standard Triton model. Although, you will be glad to hear that your safety has not been largely compromised. RISE, side-impact bars, ISOFIX, ABS, and EBD are all included. However, only 2 airbags are offered in this model. 

16” Alloy wheels, halogen headlamps, and a braked towing mass of 1400kg to get the job done. You’ll notice that the new Triton has a lower ground clearance but what’s really nice about the GL model is the space, providing you with ample leg and even shoulder room.

For your comfort, you can enjoy automatic air-conditioning, fabric seats, a center armrest with a cupholder, and just for the driver, you’ll get a seatbelt reminder! It’s the little things that make a big difference. Although, if you would like a bit more, the touchscreen radio with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto is an optional extra you could get for yourself. 

There is no doubt that Mitsubishi has produced a robust, double cab bakkie that is not only more attainable but also meets the needs of car buyers.
