Mitsubishi ASX
The ES vs LS model
Mitsubishi ASX
The Mitsubishi ASX was first launched in South Africa in 2011 and has been doing quite well as the most successful model within the Mitsubishi line-up. Recently, Mitsubishi has introduced newer models to join the ASX range, a more affordable option for Mitsubishi fans which is sure to continue the success of the ASX.
The new ASX LS & ES models are here and as with all models, there are differences between each of them which we will discuss here.
The new ASX models both look amazing and there are not many differences between them in terms of the exterior. However, you will be able to tell the difference between each model just by looking at it. For instance, the ASX LS has 18” wheels, whereas the ES does not and instead, has 16” wheels. There is a difference of 10mm ground clearance between each vehicle, but it’s ok if you don’t easily notice that one.

One of the major differences is the panoramic glass roof, which is only available in the LS models and compensates for the difference in price between each model.
Also, the LS model has the rear parking sensors with the rearview camera whilst the ES model, unfortunately, does not.

Whilst the ES model offers you 3 airbags and fabric seats, however, the Apple CarPlay/ Android auto function is an optional extra you could get for your ASX ES model.
