Welcome to the Carter family Suzuki Bramley!
Carter was founded in 2016 by 3 individuals who simply wanted to change the car buying and owning process, making it easier and hassle-free for car buyers.
The history of Suzuki dates back to the early 20th century. Although, Suzuki wasn’t always known to manufacture cars.
Michio Suzuki first started as the owner of Suzuki Loom Works, manufacturing looms for silk companies in Japan.
While his looming business was doing well, Michio believed it would be good for his business to be more diverse. As he invented machinery for his looms, he decided that it would be practical to build small cars. It was this thought that drove him to continue to manufacture vehicles. Not just cars, but motorcycles as well. As his looming business came to an end, he officially changed the company name to “Suzuki Motor Co, Ltd “in 1954.
Since 1937, it has been a bumpy journey, closing- down factories, moving, expanding, and even a complete change in what was being manufactured. However, Suzuki has proved to withstand the test of time and continues to do so.
Suzuki opened its doors to South Africa in 2008. Suzuki Bramley was one of their first dealerships to open and has been a top-performing dealership since then. Winning multiple awards such as Suzuki dealer of the year in 2018 and the Elite Award in 2019,2020, and 2021.
The addition of Suzuki Bramley will enable us to better serve our customers by offering a wider range of vehicles for car buyers to choose from. Whilst Carter Suzuki customers will be able to experience a hassle-free process of buying and owning their new car. As we aspire to provide exceptional customer service, the expansion will enable us to do so.
Carter Suzuki aims to build, grow, and achieve more than what may not have been possible to do before. We hope to continue to build innovative solutions and enhance the overall customer experience in the ultimate journey of buying and owning a new car.
